Bizwyre’s dad. As far as work ethic, we as humans can learn a lot from ants. Don’t be nice, be kind.

Okay newbs, this one is for you.

If you’re one of those who started throwing money into meme stocks in hopes to get rich. I have some news for you:

That’s NOT how you get rich.

Sure, you have some people who get lucky and enter at the right time. Unfortunately, most people aren’t as lucky.

Most people are the get-rich-quick type who just want to make a quick buck. There are also those who are looking to trade with legit interest. Whatever your intentions are, you can benefit from what I’m telling you.

The point of covering your trades…

I’d ask myself from time to time How often she wandered through my mind Wanting to provide a place called home With kids and a big yard for a dog to roam Was I in love? I wanted so much for us In a world where bigger is better It was the little things that mattered the most Her raspy voice, her warming smile as she said my name The way my heart would beat intensely whenever she walked in the room I’d seen her many times before, yet I was awestruck as if it were the first Was I…

The total package of brains and beauty

When you think of models from the '90s, what names come to mind? Is it Naomi Campbell? Linda Evangelista? Christy Turlington? Maybe it’s Cindy Crawford.

In a Euro-centric industry, one woman would go from a relative unknown to one of the biggest models of her time.

That woman was Yasmeen Ghauri. Born in Montreal, Canada to a German mother and Pakistani father, Yasmeen was discovered at age 17 while working at McDonald's.

At a time when few minority women were active, Ghauri became the face of Chanel, Christian Dior, Valentino, Versace, Hermès, and other brands. Her beauty and walk commanded…

Traditionally, investors have placed their money into stocks, bonds, and cash expecting a return on investment. Over the years, the markets haven’t proved to be as lucrative as one desired. Volatility and uncertainty have left some investors disillusioned and burned by the markets.

The main asset classes have increasingly driven investors to seek larger returns by investing in alternative assets.

Alternatives not only offer the possibility of generating reasonable returns. They perform in ways that are loosely correlated to the stock market. Alternatives are known to remain unaffected during market downturns. …

WallStreetBets has had its fair share of infamy. Back in 2019, the Reddit-based community was in the news for a “hack” that allowed users to trade with unlimited margin. Now, they’re in the news for skyrocketing Gamestop ($GME), Blackberry ($BB), and AMC Theatres ($AMC) to record highs. With Robinhood as WSB’s weapon of choice, investors are throwing caution to the wind in the name of big tendies.

Everyone wasn’t amused about the sudden price fluctuation. Investors who shorted GameStop were now caught in a short squeeze. Melvin Capital, a New York hedge fund, had shorted GameStop early in 2020.

An…

“Alexa, play “Bad Day” by Daniel Powter”

On December 22nd, I set a buy limit for 6,000 XRP at .50 cents. Hours later, news broke of Ripple being sued by the SEC. I went to adjust my buy limit to .25 cents, but it was too late. My position was filled. People began panic selling in response to the news and I was down 50% in a matter of days.

Most would believe I’d be mad about it. I’m unbothered. I’ve accepted that XRP will do one of two things: rise or die. Either way, I’ve acknowledged my risk and accepted the outcome. …

“You were born alone and you will die alone.”

My intention is not to start this writing in a grim manner, but to address the importance of self-reliance. Life is a challenge and we ought to rely on ourselves to make the best of it.

Life is like a casino. We make bets every day that result in wins and losses. When was the last time we bet on ourselves? When was the last time we examined our skills and deemed them worthy of shooting for the moon?

Betting on yourself means you believe in yourself enough to reach your…

The internet can be a great place to learn new things, meet people across the world, and find entertainment at our fingertips. To date, a huge amount of our time is spent online.

The internet can be a gift and a curse. It can be the best thing ever or it can become a living hell. One example is dealing with trolls on social media.

What are trolls, anyway?

Trolls are people who intentionally post negative comments with the goal of getting an emotional reaction from people. Some are harmless trolls, but unfortunately, some are more sinister. They’ll participate in…

You work too hard only to let your money sit in a savings account. Did you know that you can put your money to work?

Think of your money as a person. Money sitting in an account is like a person sitting on the couch all day doing nothing. We’d be upset to come home after work and see that person hasn’t moved all day.

Wishing we had more money is like wishing we had a body like an athlete. People want to look good but don’t want to work out. To get a good looking body, we have to…
